KIM RAMIREZ, U9-U14 WEST COUNTY (BOULDER BASED) PREMIER DIRECTOR

Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Kim Ramirez has been immersed in soccer since she was 6 years old. A product of FC Boulder, Kim went on to become a varsity player at Boulder High School, where her love for the game only grew. Her commitment to soccer and academics earned her a full academic scholarship to Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she graduated in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.

Kim's passion for the sport led her to coaching, and in 2018, she took on her first coaching role with FC Boulder. Since then, she has continued to nurture the growth of young players at BC United and ALBION SC Boulder County. She holds a D license and is currently working towards her C license, always striving to further her coaching expertise. In 2024, Kim was nominated for the prestigious CSA Coach of the Year award, a testament to her dedication and impact on her players.

Kim's coaching philosophy is rooted in a deep understanding of the game and a commitment to developing both the athleticism and character of her players.

Outside of soccer, Kim enjoys life in Boulder with her boyfriend Abe and their two dogs, Dice and Teddy. They love off-roading, traveling, and spending time with friends, whether on the field or enjoying a game together.
