CLARE WEEKS, U9-U12 EAST COUNTY PREMIER DIRECTOR

Clare Weeks brings a wealth of experience and passion to the soccer field, both as a coach and as an educator. With years of playing and coaching under her belt, she has honed a deep understanding of the game that she now shares with her athletes. Clare was part of the Georgia ODP (Olympic Development Program) for 3 years, and her coaching journey includes stints at Chinqually Booters Club in Olympia, WA, Louisville Park & Rec, Erie Park & Rec, and FC Boulder, BC United, and Albion SC Boulder County, where she was a fixture for 6 years. Clare also spent a year with Colorado Select (ODP), working with some of the best talent in the region.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Clare holds a Bachelor's degree in English Education with a Minor in Leadership, along with a certification in Sports Analysis. She is a proud holder of a US Soccer Coaching B License, which underscores her commitment to providing high-quality coaching and leadership.

Clare’s journey in Georgia began when her husband was stationed here as part of his service in the US Army. The couple loved the area so much that they decided to put down roots. Today, Clare is not only a coach but also an educator, working with middle and high school students in English, Special Education, and Gifted/Talented programs.

As a coach, Clare's philosophy centers around building both skill and confidence in every player. "When players are with me, every step they take on the field, I want them to feel valued as a member of the team," she says. "When they step off the field, I want them to be proud of what they've accomplished. Let's play with integrity and challenge ourselves to rise to our best ability." Clare sets high standards for her players, believing that with dedication, hard work, and a sense of pride, they can achieve their highest potential.

Outside of soccer, Clare is a lover of nature and creativity, with hobbies such as gardening, knitting, and reading.
