JEREMY CHEESEMAN, U9-U12 BOYS ACADEMY DIRECTOR


 

Jeremy Cheeseman started his soccer career in Long Island, New York before moving to collegiate soccer at East Stroudsburg University where his side made 2 NCAA Tournament appearances. Collegiate success led to Cheeseman continuing his senior career at NJ Rangers in the PDL before moving to USL Championship side Dayton Dutch Lions. During his time for Dayton, he would be named to the USLPRO Team of the Week along with a Quarter-Final Appearance in the Lamar Hunt Open Cup against eventual champions Sporting KC. 

Cheeseman would continue his soccer journey into coaching with Texans SC before stints with South Texas ODP, Stony Brook University, SUSA FC, Real Colorado and Chicago Fire Academy before joining ALBION Boulder County where he now Directs the Boys Academy Program from U8 to U12 while also coaching for Colorado Select (ODP). He has been awarded his USSF B License along with La Liga Methodology Level 3 and APFC Positional Play Certificate. Cheeseman’s dedication towards Colorado Soccer has earned him Colorado's Girls Coach of the Year in 2021, and Colorado’s Boys Coach of the Year in 2022. He was also named to the America East Coaching Staff of the Year in 2018.
