Lucas Schmolesky, U13-U19 DPL & Academy Girls Director

Lucas Schmolesky started his soccer career in Appleton, Wisconsin playing for Appleton SC, NEW United and Wisconsin Select (ODP) before moving to Colorado where he joined FC Boulder. Here, he began pursuing his coaching career in elite-youth coaching, as well as becoming involved in pre-professional soccer with ALBION Colorado in the USLw. 

Schmolesky has been awarded his USSF C License and is currently pursuing his USSF B License while spearheading the ALBION Boulder County Academy Program from U13 to U19. He has led his teams to a Colorado President’s Cup title as well as earned a spot in the DPL National qualifiers with his dedication earning him Boulder County’s Girls Coach of the Year in 2022. Schmolesky has shown impact administratively working as the Club Travel Coordinator and the Elite Platform Coordinator, utilizing an educational background in finance.  

Lucas looks to champion a strong culture in his players and teams as to provide a proper environment for committed and hardworking players to further their soccer development. Lucas and his wife, Hannah, love to travel and are avid CU sports fans.
